I was a bit suprised by the comment at the entrance. I did my reservation a day before (Friday mid day) through the app for a Saturday morning brunch. The venue never confirmed on Friday yet I arrived 10 minutes earlier on Saturday as I had no confirmation and wanted to secure a spot for my guests and I. As I arrived, the host told me that they did not accept any reservations for the weekends (although I clearly saw my name on the IPad, Fork app, yet “pending”) and the host was frustrated about us being 10 (that’s why I reserved in the first place). It was as if I was wrong in appearing (even though the venue never confirmed nor rejected my reservation)!! Me, being the first time user of the app and first time to the venue, how would I know that their “policy” is not to accept fork reservations on weekends? I genuinely found that rude and somewhat not charming for a first time user of the app and as a customer of the venue. Service later was ok, but wouldn’t recommend nor come back.
